Welcome to the FBSA, the Federal Bureau for Super-powered Affairs. As part of our Origin Outreach Initiative we are creating this public-facing repository for the use of those who wish to learn more about the "origins" of powers, the broad classifications that we use when working with powered individuals, including the many heroic people who turn Paragon City into the much-celebrated City Of Heroes that it is today. Powers are quite a personal thing to those who have them, and the situations that led to them having their powers are often highly personal as well, so it should come as no surprise that many people have strong, sometimes heated, opinions about what constitutes an origin. And some heroes who are new to the job might be unsure how to classify themselves, and the arguments on the subject may cause some unfortunate early speed-bumps in their heroic career. So if you're new to heroing, want to settle an argument about the nature of powers, or are here to find references for a school paper, know that this is the place for you.
